William Joel Linsenbigler Jr.

On Sunday, April 26, 2026 William J Linsenbigler Jr., affectionately known as Grump Grump by his family, passed away in his home. He was 67 years old.

Bill spent his youth raising hell and racking up plenty of criminal charges, but settled down in 1990 when he married the love of his life, Debbie. They blended a family of 5 sons (2 from Bill's previous marriage and 3 from Debbie's previous marriage) and the daughter they had together in 1991. Despite coming together with preteen/teens, adding a newborn, and dealing with immense stress, they stuck by each other and celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on February 3, 2026.

Bill could come off as gruff and intimidating to some, but he had a soft spot for all 6 of his grandkids. He would make a point to attend as many of their sports and school events with camera in hand.

Bill worked for the same construction company for 26 years, starting as a laborer and eventually moving up to a supervisor position where he quickly became the backbone of the company. He always went above and beyond to provide for his family, and took pride in the work he did. He was a talented woodworker, with many friends and family as "clients". He was also known for his delicious scratch-made banana bread and home-cooked meals.

He will be so deeply missed by family, friends, coworkers, and golf buddies.

Bill is predeceased by his parents, William J Linsenbigler Sr. and Janet (Trump) Greenwald, his son Jason Schaible, along with several step and half siblings. He is survived by his wife Debbie (O'Connor) Linsenbigler, his sons William J Linsenbigler III, Joel M. Linsenbigler, Daniel C. Schaible, Benjamin R. Schaible (wife Jessiana Schaible), daughter Lindsey T. Linsenbigler (husband Scott Gunter), his six grandchildren, and 3 siblings.
