William Earl Martin, 69, of Hereford, died Friday, July 6 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. Born May 31, 1949 in Tarboro, NC, he was a son of the late Joseph & Ardena (Lloyd) Martin. He was the husband of Kathy J. (Lehman) Martin. Prior to retiring in 2014, he was a butcher for Alderfer Meats. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, David Martin of Mountaintop, PA; two daughters, Gwendolyn (Andy) Arn of Easy Greenville, and Stacy Rogers (fiancé Raymond Smith) of Bethlehem; brother Grover Martin of Tarboro, NC; two sisters, Ethel Lee Thomas of Princeville, NC and Barbara Ann Bishop of Tarboro, NC; six grandchildren: Earl Hartzell, Caitlin Martin, Miranda Higman, Jacob Newman, Kendall Arn, Abigail Newman; ten great-grandchildren: Liam Martin, Anaya Smith, Jace Higman, Steven Newman, Serenity Mowers, Madisyn Martin, Gabriella Wolfe, Emma-Leigh Newman, Phoenix Grow, and Braxton Chastain. He was predeceased by a son William Earl Martin, Jr. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 16 at 2:00pm at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd., 135 W. Pumping Station Road; Quakertown. A calling hour from 1-2:00pm will precede the service in the funeral home.
